Incogniti CC v Ibiza CC -

Incogniti batted first today, with skipper Kaps Kapilan immediately starting aggressively with a rapid 30. Ibiza struck back with several wickets, reducing the visitors to 57/5 in 13 overs, but then allrounder Seb Eyre dominated the bowling with multiple boundaries in a spectacular undefeated 136, setting up a 122 run stand with Perry Pearce (40). The injured Steve Starost added 19 not out and the visitors finished on an imposing 251/6. Ibiza bowler J. Dudding stood out with 3/34, while P.Cruttwell, R.Parmenter and P.Slater added a wicket each.

Ibiza then batted, needing 7 runs per over, and were constantly put under pressure by accurate bowling from Incogniti. Skipper S. Gooda (20) and K. Johnston(18) started well, but after falling, it was left to J.Dudding(27) and P.Cruttwell (25) to add some respectability to the score, the hosts finishing on 144 all out and losing by a comprehensive 107 runs. Pakistani Nev Malik recorded 3/14 in his spell and once again Imran Khan finished things off with 4/6.

Incogniti showed their all-round league cricket talent and teamwork to record this impressive win and share the weekend results, but they also demonstrated their friendly and sporting spirit. Thanks go to fixtures secretary Ben Wakeford for bringing them all to Ibiza for the first time, and we look forward to welcoming them back soon!
